Portia Wilson

I had acupuncture (for the first time) with Portia. She reviewed some of the issues I mentioned in the pre-filled forms. Ask me about my reasons for acupuncture. We discussed some issues I had that encouraged me to come to acupuncture. After discussion, She walked me through the process, what I would feel, and where she would poke and why those areas. She then helped me relax (relaxing is foreign to me) in the room by guiding me through breath work, and setting the mood in the room and covered me with a blanket. I surprisingly napped and relaxed. I felt happily tired after the experience. Portia walked me through aftercare (like hydration) and what I could expect throughout the day and also made recommendations for follow-up. I really appreciate her thoughtfulness for my first experience and I’m encouraged to continue with acupuncture. I would definitely recommend Portia Atmosphere: the space is small and calming. It looks like there were 3 rooms. The treatment room was nicely sized and soo comfy! Perfect temperature and lighting. Smelled of lavender and had calming music in the background along with a projection screen with celestial images. The infrared heat lamp on my feet was top tier!!!
